Tripp and Angela were married on June 20, 2015.  On April 1, 2017 Angela received the diagnosis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).  She had been sick with upper respiratory symptoms many times throughout the winter.  She went to the doctor with a high fever and cough.  Her doctor did a chest x-ray that showed a mass in her chest.  That led to a CT scan to further look at the mass which was followed by a biopsy.  On the morning of her biopsy she had labs drawn.  Her white blood cell count was extremely elevated.  She was admitted to the hospital and further studies were done, including a bone marrow biopsy which confirmed the diagnosis.   Chemotherapy treatments were started just a few hours after they received the diagnosis.  Chemotherapy will continue for at least the next 6 months. Tripp works as a school teacher and high school wrestling coach and Angela will be unable to work due to the rigorous treatment schedule.
